Maintenance Supervisor
This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Southern Ocean Lodge family on Kangaroo Island.
The Role
As a Maintenance Supervisor you will help lead the maintenance team on all maintenance at SOL. You will do this through;
- Working with the team to carry out repairs and maintenance as required
- Maintain all landscaping
What we’re looking for
- Extensive maintenance-related qualifications and/or significant experience in maintenance within the hotel/resort industry
- Highly motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills
- Highly developed interpersonal / communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to product specifications
- Good working knowledge of mechanics, pools, plumbing and electrical
- Ability to work & make decisions under pressure

Restaurant Supervisor
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our Southern Ocean Lodge family on Kangaroo Island.
The Role
Southern Ocean Lodge’s food philosophy very naturally, is underpinned by the glorious gastronomic abundance. Actively sourcing growers who adopt sustainable farming practices, one of the hallmarks of our cuisine is the close relationships we have with local Kangaroo Island artisan food and wine producers. Dining at Longitude 131° is varied, fun and always sophisticated. Breakfast, lunch and some dinners are served in the Dune House restaurant with outdoor terrace, soaring tented ceiling and views to Uluru.
Alternative options for dinner include outdoor dining at Table 131°, or private ‘pod’ dining under the stars on the Dune Top.
Food and beverage staff have a chance to work in Australia’s iconic Red Centre and welcome guests from around the world.
This is a full time role with furnished rental accommodation provided at the nearby Ayers Rock Resort township of Yulara.
To succeed in your application you will need:
- Proven experience in a similar venue

- Barista experience making quality espresso
